Fireworks
Fireworks, we love them! The fireworks this year in Victoria Park were themed around the London Blitz. There were sirens and searchlights going into the sky…It really made me think about the war, and how terrifying it must have been when the sirens went off. How people endured living under those conditions and how they still do in other countries seems beyond comprehension. The photo isn’t that great because Designer Einhorn was jumping up and down next to me with excitement and it put me off, but when the fireworks started the people and the trees looked ghostly in the reflected light. The music was all from the Second World War and I think the Puppini Sisters may have been singing live but I dont seem to be able to find out…..Lovely fireworks!
